Deleting your account closes it immediately. You are signed out on every device and cannot sign in again. Your chapters completed, question attempts, mistake notebook, study plan and streaks are then kept for a recovery window of up to 30 days and erased permanently at the end of it.
Deleted by mistake? Email support@vidyn.ai from the address on the account, within that window, and we can restore it. Signing in again will not restore it. After the erasure runs, nothing can be recovered.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the Target 720 app and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap the gear icon in the top bar of any tab.
- Scroll to Data & account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm with Delete.
Your account closes straight away. Your data is erased at the end of the recovery window above.
Option 2 — By email
Don't have the app any more? Email support@vidyn.ai with the subject “Delete my Target720 account”, from the email address you used to sign in.
We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you when it is done — within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.
A parent or legal guardian can make this request for an account belonging to someone under 18.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — display name, profile picture, date of birth, class level, target exam year, subjects, reminder time
- All chapter and module progress
- Every question attempt, answer and score
- Your self-checks and your mistake notebook bookmarks
- Your study plan, homework sets, streaks and goal
- Your activity event records
- Your consent records and your subscription status in our database
What is not deleted, and why

| Your Google or Apple account | Untouched. We only ever used it to sign you in. To remove Target 720's access, revoke it in your Google or Apple account settings. |
| An active subscription | Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it where you subscribed, or you will keep being charged. |
| Purchase and tax records | Apple and Google keep their own billing records. We may retain a minimal purchase record where tax or accounting law requires it. |
| Support emails | Kept up to 24 months after the issue is closed, then deleted. Ask us and we will remove them sooner where we are allowed to. |
| Backups | Routine backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 12 months of deletion. |
Want your data before you go?
Export it first — the app has an Export my data button in the same Data & account section. Once the account is deleted we cannot produce a copy.
