This policy applies to every paid subscription to Target 720, operated by Vidyn.AI (“we”, “us”). It sits alongside our Terms of Use; where the two describe the same thing, the Terms govern.
Read this before you pay. A Target 720 subscription is digital content that unlocks the moment it is bought. Outside the situations in §4 and §5 below, purchases are not refundable. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not refund the period you already paid for.
1. Where you bought it decides who can refund it
Target 720 is sold through three channels, and only one of them puts us in control of the money. This is the first thing to establish, because it decides who you have to ask.
| Where you paid | Who holds the money | Who decides a refund |
|---|---|---|
| Apple — App Store, in-app purchase | Apple Inc. | Apple, under its own policy. We cannot issue, approve or overturn it. See §6. |
| Google — Google Play, in-app purchase | Google LLC | Google, under its own policy. We cannot issue, approve or overturn it. See §6. |
| Directly from us — Razorpay | Us, via Razorpay | Us, under §2 below. |
If you are not sure which one you used, the receipt tells you: an Apple or Google purchase is billed by them and appears in your store purchase history, and a direct purchase produces a Razorpay receipt emailed to you.
2. Purchases made directly from us
A subscription bought directly from us is non-refundable. Payment grants immediate, complete access to the published syllabus for the whole of the subscription term, and that access cannot be returned once it has been given.
This applies equally to a first purchase and to a renewal, and it applies whether or not you went on to use the app.
We state it here, before you pay, precisely so it is not a surprise afterwards. Two things follow from it that are worth acting on:
- Try the free tier first. A meaningful part of the syllabus is free and needs no payment and no card. Use it to decide whether the app suits you before you subscribe.
- Turn off renewal before the date, not after. A renewal that has already been taken is a completed purchase under this section. §3 explains how to stop one.
Sections 4 and 5 are the exceptions, and they are not discretionary — they apply automatically when they apply at all.
3. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not return the last one. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops.
| Where you paid | How to cancel |
|---|---|
| Apple | On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Target 720 → Cancel Subscription. At least 24 hours before the renewal date, or that renewal still goes through. |
| In the Play Store: profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Target 720 → Cancel. At least 24 hours before the renewal date. | |
| Directly from us | Email support@vidyn.ai from the address on your account, with the subject “Cancel my subscription”. We stop the renewal and confirm by email. Do this at least 48 hours before the renewal date. |
Cancelling in the app store is the only way to stop a store subscription. Deleting your Target 720 account does not cancel it, and neither does uninstalling the app — you would keep being charged for a service you can no longer reach. See Delete your account.
4. Billing mistakes we always correct
These are not refunds of a subscription — they are money that should never have left your account. We return it whatever the channel, and you do not have to argue for it:
- You were charged twice for the same period.
- You were charged but never got access — the payment succeeded and the subscription was never activated.
- You were charged after we confirmed a cancellation in writing.
- The amount charged was not the amount shown to you at the point of purchase.
Tell us at support@vidyn.ai with the receipt. For a direct purchase we return the money to the original payment method, normally within 5–7 working days of us confirming the error, and the time it then takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank. For a store purchase we cannot move the money ourselves — we will confirm the error to you in writing so you can take it to Apple or Google, and we will correct your access immediately either way.
5. If we withdraw the Service
If we stop offering Target 720 entirely while you are inside a period you have paid for, you get a proportionate refund for the part you cannot use, as set out in Terms of Use §9. For store purchases that refund is made through the relevant store; for direct purchases we make it ourselves.
This is not the same as a feature being changed or removed. Sections 9 and 8 of the Terms cover what we do and do not promise about the Service itself.
6. Refunds on Apple and Google purchases
When you buy inside the app, Apple or Google is the seller. They take the payment, they hold it, and they alone decide a refund under their own published policies. We have no ability to issue one, and no ability to reverse one they have granted.
Ask them directly:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Google: the Play Store order history, or Google's own refund request form.
What we can do, and will:
- Confirm to you in writing what your account shows — when the subscription started, what was charged, and whether the content was ever opened — so your request to the store carries evidence rather than assertion.
- Fix the underlying fault if there is one, and tell you when it is fixed.
- Make sure you are not charged again, once the subscription is cancelled at the store.
7. How to raise a billing question
One address, and a person reads it:
Write from the email address on your account and include the receipt or order ID, the date of the charge, and what you expected to be charged. Without the receipt we often cannot identify the payment at all, because a store purchase is made under a store account we never see.
A parent or legal guardian can raise a billing question about an account belonging to someone under 18. Say so in the email and we will deal with you directly.
8. Your rights under the law
Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under Indian consumer law, and nothing in it limits a liability that cannot be limited by law. Where the law gives you a remedy we have not described here, it still applies.
If we have not resolved a billing complaint to your satisfaction, say so in writing to support@vidyn.ai and we will escalate it internally before you have to take it anywhere else.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the version and date at the top and, for a significant change, tell you in the app. The version in force when you paid is the one that governs that purchase — a later change does not apply backwards to a subscription you already bought.
